Honestly because cats. But I recognize the need for an alliance. I have stood by while my capital was sacked and my population rioted and killed each other for no reason too many times. I started my own pointless war when I was a new and stupid nation and so got kicked out of GPA during application. And so I have learned...

Oh also the last war I had, the nation who started it unprovoked was from Children of the Morrighan, an alliance with whom yall *apparently* have a non-aggression treaty..... So yes.. Although now he wants to trade, go figure.
